In 1914, the Hippodrome Theater was central to Baltimore’s cultural landscape. When it was restored and renovated into a performance center with a 2,286-seat auditorium, Morabito Consultants reviewed and assessed the building and adjacent structures. Morabito provided expertise to update the buildings including reinforcement of balcony slabs, strengthening roof trusses (for new catwalks), and expansion and modernization of the orchestra pit and stage. Today, the Hippodrome is Broadway’s home in Baltimore.
